I just replaced the rectifier on my 89 TS 650. Just before the rectifier went bad the ski was running smooth till about a half an hour into riding. Then it started sputtering when the gas reached 1/3 throttle and will not plain out. After replacing the rectifier it still is doing the same sputtering and has even flashed in the water muffler blowing off the rubber boot that seals the muffler to the water muffler. Is this a carb adjustment? Which is the fuel mixture screw on the carb? The rubber bushing between the exaust manifold "U" pipe and the muffler it torn could this be causing these symptoms?
