well the impeller is set at a certain pitch to have the motor run in its optimum power range.. for your motor the 66v its 7250 rpm.. putting a new prop on will help your top end a little, but your holeshot will be horrible, but theres a chance of engine detonation due to the stress on the motor, and it not being able to hit its target rpm,s... your first mods should be a ...pump plug kit, wave eater powervalve clips, intake grate, check the oil lines from the pump on the front of the engine case they fall off alot make sure there tight, a primer kit, and yes the chip it comes as a kit with the d-plate,,, it mimics the stock catalytic converter signal when the converter is removed to put a d-plate in,, the d-plate allows the use of regular oils and keeps under seat temps down... those are the mandatory mods to keep the ski safe.... as for speed mods it all depends on how far your willing to go,,,,, people hit 70-80 all the time, a handfull are in the 90's, and top speed to date is 103, its a hybrid gprxp basically a gpr with a 4-tec motor in it, this particular boat had an rxp top deck and gpr bottom deck...
